Punctuation Issues (Blue)

How the Grammar Checker Works

3. Click any underline to open a popover showing the error type, a plain-English explanation, and one or more suggested corrections.
4. Click a suggestion to apply it instantly. The correction is inserted and the underline disappears.

Grammar Checker vs. Spell Checker: What Is the Difference?

A spell checker only compares each word against a dictionary and flags words it does not recognise. A grammar checker analyses the entire sentence: the relationship between words, their order, their agreement in number and tense, and how they interact with surrounding clauses. A spell checker would not catch "their going to the store" (all words are spelled correctly) but a grammar checker catches the their/they're error immediately.
